Dr Jerry D Ortho, MS Ortho, DNB, FFAS, PGHCM, is the Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma and Orthopaedic Oncology surgeon in Ortho One Speciality Centre.

He graduated from Tirunelveli Medical College and obtained a diploma and masters from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He served as an assistant professor in Christian Medical College, Vellore and Velammal Medical College, Madurai for 5 years. During this period he was involved in trauma surgery especially polytrauma management, revision trauma surgeries, and nonunion and limb reconstruction with the Ilizarov technique. He was involved in the Orthopaedic Oncology work in Christian Medical College, Vellore with Dr. Vijay T K Titus involving bone and soft tissue sarcomas.

He has done his foot and ankle fellowship from the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Delhi under the Indian Foot and Ankle Society. He has done PG Healthcare Administration in Loyola Institute of Business Administration.

Dr Jerry’s field of interest is Orthopaedic Trauma surgery with a special interest in revision trauma surgeries and management of nonunions and negelected trauma surgeries. He is also experienced in the management of bone and softtissue sarcoma with limb salvage surgeries.
