The laboratory also participates in proficiency testing and EQAS (External Quality Assurance System) programs. EQAS programs are accepted around the world as invaluable tools to assess the analytical performance periodically by laboratories. EQAS programs improve lab performance and provide information on accuracy and precision. Biochemistry is enrolled in the EQAS program run by CMC, Vellore.
